I think the change to loot tokens over energy is pretty great, but the drop rate for hero tokens is now really, really bad. It's frustrating to go from getting the hero on average every 1-3 tries to a new average of 10 - 15.

I don't think loot tokens better than energy. Energy system works as a price system, where harder stages, with better drops (with very rare, epic or legendary hero tokens), costs more, but give better prizes in exchange. A lot of top freemium games uses energy system and must have a reason.

Loot tokens breaks it. Besides, arena chests and quests used to reward with energy, making fun by doing it. This was removed and no prize replacement was created. They should increase energy pool and reduce recovery time, not eliminate energy. I agree with drop rates. It made farming a bad joke.
